The principle, Mr. Sproles is a Vietnam Era Navy veteran. The company was formed by Mr. Sproles in 1995. It began as a physician and healthcare professional recruiting firm.

Tommy Sproles Sr., M.P.A., has over 30 years of healthcare experience which began as a corpsman in the U.S. Navy. He later attended Hahhnaman Medical College to become a Physicain Assistant. He worked as a physician assistant for a local physician, Dr. Worthie Springer for 17 years. He resigned this job to open three companies, Midway Medical Equipment and Supply company and Central Arkansas Home Health Agency and Essex, Inc. which specialized in recruiting healthcare professionals. He operated these successful companies for ten years before selling one to the State of Arkansas and the other to a private company.

After selling the companies, Mr. Sproles became the director of the office of Primary Care within the Arkansas Department of Health. While in this position in state government, he was successful in creating the Arkansas Minority Health Commission. Mr. Sproles retired from state government in 2002. After a very brief retirement he was recruited by General Physics Corp. to do training their domestic preparedness equipment training assistance program. (DPETAP). He provided training in chemical, biological, radiation, nuclear and explosives.(CBRNE) warfare.

Mr. Sproles is also a certified and licensed home inspector. He is a graduate of the American Home Inspection Training Institute.

Tommy Sproles, Jr., M.B.A is a graduate of Philander Smith College and Webster University. He is currently the CEO of Essex, Inc. and the president of Chase Financial, Inc. in Little Rock, Arkansas.
