Angora wool or Angora fiber refers to the downy coat produced by the Angora rabbit. Angora is known for its softness, thin, halo (fluffy) fibers. It is also known for its silky texture.
Angora fiber is fairly unique in the fact that is such a fine fiber but is actually hollow. This makes it one of the warmest fibers to wear, (7 times warmer than sheep's wool), giving them their characteristic floating feel.
Angora is most effective worn directly on the skin; it transfers humidity away from the skin and keeps the wearer comfortable and dry, preventing them from catching a cold when exposed to adverse and windy weather!
So, the Angora simply possesses the best qualities to comfort and protect those who also suffer from muscle aches, bone and joint pains, or just ordinary people who like to be kept warm on colder days without having to wear too many layers of heavy clothing!
And so, it is also just perfect for all sports and out door activities such as motorcycling, cycling, skiing, fishing, hunting, etc.
Such high quality Angora hair can only be obtained from healthy Angora Rabbits. With respect to the green policy, special care is taken to carefully trim the rabbits only 4 times a year and the rabbits are not hurt in any way!!!

The Royal Angora line consists of two thicknesses. The underwear is made of very thin yarn. This makes it very comfortable for indoor and outdoor use, keeping us warm outside and nice and cozy inside. Also keeping us from wearing too many layers of clothes.

The thicker yarn is for the heavier garments such as; the knee warmers, lower back belts, socks, etc.
